A delightful mid-19th century terraced oak beamed cottage situated in the quiet, picturesque village of North Dalton nestling in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.

The village is a short drive from Driffield and Pocklington and the historic market town of Beverley. It is only twenty miles from the East Coast, with Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby giving visitors a wonderful seaside resort experience. The Heritage Coast found there includes the spectacular seabird reserve of Bempton Cliffs.

For shopping and entertainment the historic, and contrasting cities, of York and Hull are both within a 40 minutes drive with a host of Museums, Art Galleries, Theatres, Cinemas, Restaurants, and Hull’s submarium ‘The Deep’.

The stately homes of Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Castle Howard are all within a short drive, with Beverley and York racecourses easily accessible.

The cottage is ideally situated for walkers wishing to explore the local area and the North Yorkshire Moors, with the long distance walks – Minster Way and Wolds Way passing through the village.

The cottage possesses a unique view overlooking the village pond where ducks and moorhens can be watched, along with the shoals of fish inhabiting the pond. The 11th century village church can also be viewed from here. Adjacent to the cottage is an excellent, welcoming Country Pub – The Star Inn serving a range of fine local real ales to its visitors.
